CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company signs marketing deal as the Official Real Estate Company of the Dallas Cowboys

Dallas real estate company CENTURY 21 Judge Fite has announced a multi-year agreement as the Official Real Estate Company of the Dallas Cowboys.  The new initiative was announced at the company's recent Awards banquet.

"Our biggest initiative for the next three years is our designation as the Official Real Estate Company of the Dallas Cowboys," said Jim Fite, President of CENTURY 21 Judge Fite.  "We feel this will be a good partnership to increase our brand exposure in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex and beyond."

Every fall, the company's management team participates in strategic planning to focus on goals for the coming year.  One of the ideas at the planning retreat in 2013 was ways to raise the visibility of the company.  “When people join our team, they’re constantly telling us that we’re the best-kept secret in Dallas real estate,” Fite says. “This is despite the company being formed in 1937, and our huge share of the DFW real estate market.”  So Fite asked his Director of Marketing, Vicky Wu, to come up with some ideas.

Wu wasn't sure what direction to take when dreaming big last summer; since joining the company in 2011, she's been working with an annual budget of $100,000 - a fraction of the $500,000 budgets in the years before her arrival.  So she decided to think bigger than Fite was probably expecting.  “I’ve seen how big hairy audacious goals can work better than just the sum of their parts,” Wu says. “They tend to generate excitement and buzz within and outside of an organization, beyond what you could get with a goal that wasn’t quite a stretch.”

"I had done the quick math on how much it would cost for 20 offices to sponsor two or three of their local high school football teams, guessing at $5,000 per sponsorship.  It was quickly adding up to a large figure, possibly without an equally large return on investment,” Wu says.  "I also considered a billboard campaign, but costs to saturate the DFW area were higher with even less return on investment."

Being the official real estate company of the Dallas Cowboys allows the company to use the designation throughout the year.  It also comes with advertising opportunities in AT&T Stadium, on the DallasCowboys.com website and on Cowboys radio.  The company also plans to use this as another method of giving back to the community.

"We've been supporters of Easter Seals North Texas since 1997," said Fite.  "Since that time, we've raised over $1.8 million for their organization - but we also know their needs increase every year.  We plan to expand our giving program by incorporating them into our new partnership."  Every time Dallas Cowboys' kicker Dan Bailey is up for a field goal, the radio will announce that if he makes the goal CENTURY 21 Judge Fite will donate $250 to Easter Seals North Texas.  "Giving back to the community is directly tied to our mission statement, and this is a way that we can not only increase our giving, but also help bring additional awareness to the important work done by Easter Seals North Texas."

Wu said some of the agents and staff are already matching that challenge, offering anywhere from $1 to $10 per field goal as their own personal donation.

This is just one of the many new initiatives undertaken by the company in 2014.  "We are also honored to have been named one of the Top 100 Places to Work in DFW by the Dallas Morning News in 2013,"  said Fite.  Other initiatives are focused around the real estate agents and staff who make the company so successful.  "Dave Ramsey's Financial Wellness program is offered at a discount to all agents and staff, who can have the entire registration fee reimbursed upon successful completion of the program; and we opened the discount up to clients and others as well. In addition, we are migrating to a paperless system, so that agents, clients, managers, and others will be able to access documents 24/7 from any web-enabled device, speeding our response times and making the real estate transaction process easier for our clients."

YOGA CLASS IN FORT WORTH

stretching

Hit the Ground Dancing
4524 Boat Club Road, Suite 150
Fort Worth, TX  76719
682-233-2672

This 60-minute class is designed to build core strength and flexibility and increase your relaxation while reducing stress. We borrow pieces from many styles of yoga:

Vinyasa

strengthening This style of yoga  synchronizes breath and movement to increase core strength, muscular flexibility and blood circulation. Breathe, sweat and go with the flow!

Iyenga

alignment and posture Iyenga Yoga was created by B.K.S. Iyengar, a well-known teacher from India. This style of yoga focuses on precise alignment of the body with an emphasis on standing poses. Iyenga yoga is wonderful for improving your stability, strength, posture and balance.

Yin

flexibility and mobility Yin yoga focuses mainly on the hips, pelvis, knees and lower back in order to increase joint range of motion, increase body awareness and learn to just let go. Through holding poses for longer periods of time connective tissue is stretched while chronic held tension is released.

Nidra

relaxation Yoga Nidra is an element of yoga involving deep relaxation in order to relieve both physical and mental tension.  Practicing this relaxation technique is believed to improve the quality of sleep and aid stress management.

I’m not flexible – can I do yoga?

Absolutely! Give it a try and over time you will notice that yoga helps you to become more flexible. Every body is different, so never feel the need to practice poses exactly like the instructor.  Listen to your body, don’t force yourself and stay within your limits. Also, like any other exercise program, please consult your doctor before beginning yoga.

What do I need to practice yoga?

Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing, kick off your shoes and practice on a surface with some grip. Yoga mats are ideal, as they are “sticky” and help prevent sliding. You can bring your own, or we do have a few you can borrow for class on a first-come, first-use basis.
